Managing over 3 million sq ft of warehousing, to ensure they are equipped with the latest technology, Ecolighting were contacted to evaluate and recommend a suitable lighting scheme to improve the existing working environment at their 24/6 Distribution Centre in Skelmersdale.
The existing scheme consisted mainly of old 400w Metal Halide High bay fittings and was replaced with a combination our Ecolite Industrial Hi-Saver and Rackmaster fittings.
Both management and staff are thrilled with the new working environment as well as the financial results.

Both light levels and uniformity were improved and provided a return on investment in less than 1.3 years. Ongoing maintenance of the new system will greatly reduce the impact on the operation as lamp life is expected to last over 7 years across the site.
